Q: What is “Contribution in Kind”?
Q: The company I represent is currently involved in a FP6 project which will end 30 September. One of the resources working on the project was specifically hired for the project and is leaving the company in October. This resource, asked us if it’s possible to sell him the laptop we bought for him to use. Can we sell him the laptop, or do we have to keep all the equipment we bought for a given period of time?
Q: Three kinds of receipts must be taken into consideration: 1) Financial transfers or their equivalent to the contractor from third parties; 2) Contributions in kind from third parties; 3) Income generated by the project. When are "financial transfers" or "contributions in kind" receipts - and therefore not considered eligible costs, and what characterizes these transfers and contributions - please provide an example?
