Problems with an EU audit?

It has come to our attention that some organisations, particularly SMEs, are having problems with EU audits.

The Finance Helpdesk takes these complaints very seriously and will be taking these complaints further.

If you have recently or are currently undergoing an EU audit, we would greatly appreciate it if you would give us some information and feedback based on the questions below and send them to us here.

1)    Your Organisation Details (Name, Type of organisation and Country)

2)    Which Projects were audited?

3)    Which Program sent the auditors (e.g. DG-INFSO, DG-Research etc)

4)    Please give a description of how the audit went and what were the problems that you came across.

5)    Do you disagree with the outcome of the audit? If yes, please describe.

6)    How did the Commission respond to the Audit?

7)    How responsive were the Commission to any complaint?
